وزیر اعلیٰ خیبر پختونخوا کی مون سون کے خطرات سے نمٹنے کے لیے جامع پلان تیار کرنے کی ہدایت

وزیر اعلیٰ نے آئندہ مون سون کے سیزن کے دوران ممکنہ سیلابی صورتحال اور بارشوں کے خطرات سے نمٹنے کے لیے تمام متعلقہ اداروں کو ایک جامع اور موثر پلان تیار کرنے کی سخت ہدایت جاری کر دی ہے۔ انہوں نے واضح کیا ہے کہ جانی و مالی نقصان کو کم کرنے کے لیے پیشگی اقدامات ناگزیر ہیں۔

پانی کے نکاس اور نالوں کی صفائی کا حکم

ایک اعلیٰ سطحی اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے وزیر اعلیٰ نے صوبے کے تمام بڑے شہروں اور دیہی علاقوں میں ندی نالوں کی صفائی کا کام ہنگامی بنیادوں پر مکمل کرنے کا حکم دیا۔ انہوں نے انتظامیہ کو پابند کیا کہ نشیبی علاقوں سے بارش کے پانی کے فوری نکاس کے لیے ڈی واٹرنگ پمپس اور دیگر مشینری کی دستیابی کو پہلے سے یقینی بنایا جائے تاکہ عوام کو کسی بڑی مشکل کا سامنا نہ کرنا پڑے۔

اجلاس کے دوران پی ڈی ایم اے (PDMA) اور ضلعی انتظامیہ کو ہائی الرٹ رہنے کا حکم دیا گیا ہے۔ وزیر اعلیٰ نے کہا کہ تمام ریلیف کیمپس کے لیے جگہوں کا تعین پہلے سے کر لیا جائے اور وہاں اشیائے خوردونوش، ادویات اور پینے کے صاف پانی کا ذخیرہ وقت سے پہلے پہنچایا جائے تاکہ کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتحال میں فوری ریسکیو آپریشن شروع کیا جا سکے۔

شہریوں کی حفاظت اولین ترجیح

وزیر اعلیٰ نے اپنے خطاب میں اس بات پر زور دیا کہ موسمیاتی تبدیلیوں کے باعث بارشوں کا مروجہ پیٹرن تبدیل ہو رہا ہے، اس لیے ہمیں روایتی طریقوں سے ہٹ کر جدید ٹیکنالوجی اور الرٹ سسٹمز کا استعمال کرنا ہو گا۔ انہوں نے صوبائی محکموں کو آپس میں قریبی رابطہ برقرار رکھنے اور روزانہ کی بنیاد پر رپورٹ جمع کرانے کی ہدایت بھی جاری کی۔

انتظامیہ کے مطابق اس پلان پر عملدرآمد فوری طور پر شروع کر دیا گیا ہے تاکہ مون سون کے آغاز سے قبل تمام حفاظتی انتظامات مکمل کیے جا سکیں۔

The Chief Minister has issued strict directives to all relevant departments to formulate a comprehensive and effective risk mitigation plan to tackle potential floods and heavy rainfall during the upcoming monsoon season. He emphasized that proactive measures are indispensable to minimize the loss of lives and infrastructure.

Drainage Clearing and Pre-positioning of Machinery

Chairing a high-level meeting, the CM ordered the immediate cleaning of major drains and sewage systems across both urban and rural areas of the province. He instructed the local administration to ensure the availability of de-watering pumps and critical machinery in low-lying areas beforehand to prevent urban flooding and public distress.

PDMA and district administrations have been put on high alert. The Chief Minister directed that emergency relief camps should be identified in advance, and essential supplies, including medicines, food items, and clean drinking water, must be stockpiled to ensure rapid response during any crisis.

Public Safety Remains Top Priority

The CM noted that shifting weather patterns due to climate change require utilizing modern early warning systems rather than relying on traditional methods. He urged provincial departments to maintain close coordination and submit daily progress reports on the implementation of the mitigation strategies.

According to officials, execution of the safety plan has commenced immediately to complete all structural and non-structural safety measures before the arrival of the monsoon rains.
